Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup ketchup for glaze

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, and milk.
  • Add the egg, 2 tablespoons of ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Mix until everything is well combined, but do not overmix.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish.
  • Spread 1/4 cup of ketchup over the top of the meatloaf for glaze.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve warm with your favorite sides.
