Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, and milk.
Add the egg, 2 tablespoons of ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Mix until everything is well combined, but do not overmix.
Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish.
Spread 1/4 cup of ketchup over the top of the meatloaf for glaze.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
