Ingredients

  • 1 gallon apple cider
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup cranberry juice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon whole cloves
  • 1 tablespoon whole allspice
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 orange sliced
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • Fresh cranberries for garnish

Instructions

  • In a large pot, combine apple cider, orange juice, and cranberry juice.
  • Add brown sugar and stir until dissolved.
  • Insert cloves and allspice into a piece of cheesecloth and tie securely.
  • Add the spice bag to the pot.
  • Add cinnamon sticks, orange slices, and lemon slices.
  • Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat.
  • Reduce heat to low and allow to simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more brown sugar.
  • Remove spice bag and cinnamon sticks before serving.
  • Serve hot in mugs, garnished with fresh cranberries and additional orange slices if desired.
