Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 300 g ground lamb or beef
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine flour and salt.
  • Add the egg and water, mixing until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  • Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic until translucent.
  • Add ground meat, paprika, and cumin; cook until browned.
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into squares.
  • Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each square.
  • Fold the dough over to create a triangle and seal the edges.
  • Boil water in a large pot and cook the dumplings for 8-10 minutes.
