Boil a large pot of salted water.
Add the tortellini and cook according to package instructions.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
Pour in the marinara sauce and reduce heat.
Add heavy cream and mix until smooth.
Drain the tortellini and add to the sauce.
Stir in grated Parmesan cheese.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.
