Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef or turkey over medium heat until fully cooked.
Drain excess fat from the meat.
Stir in the taco seasoning, black beans, corn, and salsa. Cook for 5 minutes.
In a baking dish, layer half of the meat mixture.
Add a layer of tortilla chips over the meat.
Sprinkle one cup of shredded cheese on top of the chips.
Repeat the layers with the remaining meat mixture, chips, and cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly.
Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before garnishing with cilantro and tomatoes.
