Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked ground beef or turkey
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese cheddar or Mexican blend
  • 1/2 avocado sliced
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • Optional: olives jalapeños, or corn

Instructions

  • Prepare your ground meat by cooking it with taco seasoning until well combined.
  • While the meat cooks, chop the lettuce and dice the tomatoes.
  • Slice the avocado and set aside.
  • Once the meat is ready, assemble your bowl.
  • Start with a base of chopped lettuce.
  • Add the cooked ground meat on top of the lettuce.
  • Sprinkle diced tomatoes over the meat.
  • Add shredded cheese of your choice next.
  • Place the avocado slices on one side of the bowl.
  • Top with a dollop of sour cream and a spoonful of salsa.
