Ingredients

  • 200 g spaghetti
  • 300 g large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese optional

Instructions

  • Boil a pot of salted water and cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Pour in white wine and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Add cherry tomatoes and red pepper flakes, simmer for another 3 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Drain spaghetti and add it to the skillet, tossing to combine.
  • Sprinkle with chopped parsley and toss again.
  • Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
