Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 red onion finely chopped
  • 1 cucumber diced
  • 1 tomato diced
  • 1 jalapeño minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare the shrimp by boiling in salted water for 2-3 minutes until pink, then immerse in ice water.
  • Chop the shrimp into bite-sized pieces and place in a mixing bowl.
  • Pour fresh lime juice over the shrimp and let marinate for 15 minutes.
