Ingredients

  • 10 rice paper wrappers
  • 200 g minced chicken or tofu
  • 1 cup finely chopped vegetables carrots, cabbage, bell peppers
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
  • Fresh herbs cilantro, mint
  • Dipping sauce hoisin or spicy chili sauce

Instructions

  • Prepare all ingredients by chopping vegetables and mincing protein.
  • In a bowl, mix the minced chicken or tofu with vegetables, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic.
  • Soak a rice paper wrapper in warm water for about 10 seconds until soft.
  • Lay the softened wrapper flat on a clean surface.
  • Place a spoonful of filling in the center of the wrapper.
  • Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling.
  • Roll the wrapper tightly from the bottom up to enclose the filling.
  • Repeat the process with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  • Steam the dumplings for 10-12 minutes or until cooked through.
  • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
