Ingredients

  • 1 box of vanilla cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup strawberry or raspberry sauce
  • 1 tub of whipped topping
  • Fresh fruit for topping optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare a 9x13 inch baking dish by greasing it lightly.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and water.
  • Mix until well blended and pour into the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool for about 15 minutes.
  • Using the end of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over the cake.
  • Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the warm cake, ensuring it seeps into the holes.
  • Spread the fruit sauce evenly over the top.
  • Top with whipped topping and decorate with fresh fruit if desired.
