Ingredients

  • 4 cups ripe tomatoes chopped
  • 1 cucumber diced
  • 1 bell pepper chopped
  • 1 small red onion thinly sliced
  • 2 cups stale bread cubed
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Wash and chop the tomatoes into bite-sized pieces.
  • Dice the cucumber and chop the bell pepper.
  • Thinly slice the red onion.
  • Tear or cut the stale bread into cubes.
  • In a large bowl, combine the chopped tomatoes, cucumber, bell pepper, and onion.
