Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg.

In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
Add in 2 eggs, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar, and mix until creamy.
Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake layer in the baking dish.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, until the edges are golden.
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes.
Cut into squares and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
