Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Juice of 2 large lemons
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a large ziplock bag or shallow dish.
  • Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is coated.
  • Seal the bag or cover the dish and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • Transfer the marinated chicken to a baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
