Ingredients

  • 12 fresh jalapenos
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Wash the jalapenos and slice them in half lengthwise.
  • Remove the seeds and membranes for a milder flavor.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Fill each jalapeno half with the cheese mixture.
  • Spread breadcrumbs on top of the filled jalapenos.
  • Place the jalapenos on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Lightly spray with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
