Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente.
In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, seasoning with salt and pepper.
Drain excess fat from the beef and add marinara sauce to the skillet.
In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, and salt.
Spread a layer of meat sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
Layer 4 noodles over the sauce, followed by half of the ricotta mixture.
Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella cheese on top.
Repeat the layers, finishing with noodles, remaining meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese.
Top with grated Parmesan cheese and cover with foil.
Bake for 25 minutes covered, then remove foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes until bubbly.
Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
