Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 blend
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce tomato, onion, pickles for toppings
  • Cheese slices optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Gently mix until just combined; avoid overworking the meat.
  • Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.
  • Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing.
  • Lightly oil the grill or pan to prevent sticking.
  • Cook patties for 4-5 minutes on one side without moving them.
  • Flip the patties and cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium doneness.
  • If using cheese, add a slice on top during the last minute of cooking.
  • Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before assembling.
