Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup water
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 lime cut into wedges

Instructions

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  • Drain excess fat from the skillet.
  • Add taco seasoning and water to the beef.
  • Stir well and simmer for 5-7 minutes until thickened.
  • Warm the tortillas in a separate skillet.
  • Assemble the tacos by placing beef in each tortilla.
  • Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and cheese.
  • Drizzle with sour cream and garnish with cilantro.
  • Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
