Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 slices of cheese
  • 1-2 tablespoons of butter
  • Optional: garlic powder herbs, or tomato slices

Instructions

  • Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  • Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  • Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
  • Add the cheese on top of the bread in the skillet.
  • Cover with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  • Carefully flip the sandwich using a spatula.
  • Cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes until crispy.
  • Remove from the skillet and let it cool slightly.
  • Slice and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
