Flour your working surface and turn the dough out onto it.
Divide the dough into four sections for easier handling.
Roll each section into a long rope about 1/2 inch thick.
Cut the rope into 1-inch pieces to form the gnocchi.
Using a fork, press down on each piece to create ridges.
Drop the gnocchi into the boiling water and cook until they float, about 2-3 minutes.
Remove with a slotted spoon and transfer to a plate.
In a pan, heat marinara sauce and add the cooked gnocchi, tossing gently.
Serve hot, garnished with Parmesan and fresh basil.
