  • 1 can 400g crushed tomatoes

  • 100 ml heavy cream

Instructions

  • Begin by boiling a large pot of salted water for the pasta.
  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  • While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and chopped onion, sautéing until translucent.
  • Stir in the crushed tomatoes and tomato paste, mixing well.
  • Season with red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper to taste.
  • Allow the sauce to simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Once the pasta is cooked, reserve some pasta water and drain the rest.
  • Add the heavy cream to the sauce, stirring until combined and creamy.
  • Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce, adding reserved pasta water if needed.
