Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup nut butter
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or dried fruits
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds or flaxseeds
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut optional
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, nut butter, and honey.
  • Add chocolate chips and chia seeds to the mixture.
  • Stir until all ingredients are well combined.
  • If using, mix in shredded coconut.
  • Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  • Refrigerate the mixture for about 10 minutes to firm up.
  • Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions.
  • Roll each portion into a ball between your palms.
  • Place the formed balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Store in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
