In another bowl, whisk the egg and milk together.
Pour the egg mixture into the corn mixture and stir until just combined.
Fold in the chopped green onions.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Using a ladle, scoop the batter into the hot skillet, forming fritters.
Cook each fritter for 3-4 minutes on one side until golden brown.
Flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
