Ingredients

  • 500 g boneless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoons garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 can 400g crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, cumin, paprika, and salt.
  • Add chicken pieces to the marinade and coat well. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour.
  • Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  • Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned on all sides.
  • Remove chicken and set aside. In the same pan, add crushed tomatoes.
  • Simmer the tomatoes for about 5 minutes until thickened.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and mix well.
  • Add the chicken back into the sauce and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
  • Adjust seasoning if necessary.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
