Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place the flour in a shallow dish and season with salt and pepper.
  • In another dish, beat the eggs.
  • In a third dish, spread the breadcrumbs.
  • Dip each chicken breast into the flour, shaking off the excess.
  • Next, dip the chicken into the beaten eggs.
  • Finally, coat the chicken in breadcrumbs.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Fry the chicken until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.
  • Transfer the chicken to a baking dish, top with marinara sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly.
