Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil for frying
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound them to 1/2 inch thickness.
  • Season both sides of the chicken with salt and pepper.
  • Lay a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each chicken breast.
  • Roll the chicken tightly, securing with toothpicks if necessary.
  • Dredge each rolled chicken in flour, shaking off excess.
  • Dip in beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off.
  • Coat with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat; fry each piece until golden brown on all sides.
  • Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 15 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
