Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh thyme for garnish
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  • In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
  • Heat an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  • Flip the chicken and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Remove the skillet from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh thyme and serve with lemon wedges.
