Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions.
  • While the pasta cooks, season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.
  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine, and bring to a simmer.
  • Add grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce is smooth.
  • Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet with the sauce.
  • Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce until well coated, and serve immediately.
