Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup nut butter peanut or almond
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup mixed nuts chopped
  • 1/2 cup dried fruits raisins, cranberries, etc.
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips optional
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, chopped nuts, and dried fruits.
  • In a small saucepan, heat the nut butter and honey over low heat, stirring until melted and combined.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
  • Pour the nut butter mixture over the dry ingredients.
  • Mix well until everything is evenly coated.
  • Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Press the mixture firmly into the pan, spreading it evenly.
  • Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
