Ingredients

  • 1 head of cauliflower cut into florets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons melted vegan butter optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix the flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it's fully coated.
  • Place the coated florets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, turning halfway through until golden and crispy.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the hot sauce and melted butter (if using).
  • Remove the cauliflower from the oven and toss in the hot sauce mixture.
  • Return the cauliflower to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes.
  • Take out and let cool slightly before serving.
  • Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce!
