Ingredients

  • 1 medium cauliflower head riced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: olive oil for brushing

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  • Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and cut it into florets.
  • Steam the cauliflower florets until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Once cooled, use a food processor to rice the cauliflower.
  • Place the riced cauliflower in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out excess moisture.
  • In a large bowl, mix the riced cauliflower with mozzarella, parmesan, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Shape the mixture into a round crust on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake the crust for 20 minutes or until golden brown and firm.
  • Remove from the oven and add your favorite toppings.
  • Return to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes to melt the cheese and heat the toppings.
