Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  • Drain excess fat and add chopped onion and bell pepper; sauté for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in diced tomatoes, garlic powder, and chili powder.
  • Cook egg noodles according to package instructions; drain.
  • Layer half of the noodles in a greased casserole dish.
  • Add half of the beef mixture and sprinkle with half of the cheese.
  • Repeat the layers, finishing with cheese on top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly.
  • Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
