Ingredients

  • 4 large carrots
  • 1 apple optional
  • 1- inch piece of ginger optional
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • Water as needed

Instructions

  • Wash the carrots thoroughly under running water.
  • Peel the carrots using a vegetable peeler.
  • Chop the carrots into smaller pieces for easier juicing.
  • If using, wash and core the apple, then chop it into pieces.
  • Peel the ginger and slice it into small pieces.
  • Add the chopped carrots, apple, and ginger into the juicer.
  • Juice the ingredients until smooth and fully blended.
  • Strain the juice through a fine mesh strainer if desired.
  • Stir in the lemon juice for added flavor.
  • Serve immediately over ice or chill in the refrigerator.
