Ingredients

  • 4 medium carrots
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Optional: fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Wash and peel the carrots, then slice them into thin strips resembling fries.
  • In a large bowl, combine the carrot strips with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Toss until the carrots are evenly coated with the oil and spices.
  • Spread the carrot fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  • Check for desired crispiness; they should be golden brown and tender.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
