Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Optional: chopped nuts for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Wash and trim Brussels sprouts, removing any damaged outer leaves.
  • Cut them in half for even cooking.
  • In a large bowl, combine Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Toss until evenly coated.
  • Spread the sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer.
