Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs bone-in and skin-on
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  • In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Rub the mixture all over the chicken thighs.
  • Place the chicken thighs skin-side down on the grill.
  • Grill for about 10-12 minutes, covered.
  • Flip the thighs and brush with barbecue sauce.
  • Cook for an additional 10-12 minutes, uncovered.
  • Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (75°C).
  • Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
