Rub the mixture all over the chicken thighs.
Place the chicken thighs skin-side down on the grill.
Grill for about 10-12 minutes, covered.
Flip the thighs and brush with barbecue sauce.
Cook for an additional 10-12 minutes, uncovered.
Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (75°C).
Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
