Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs bone-in, skin-on
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  • In a bowl, mix olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken thighs.
  • Place the chicken on the grill, skin-side down.
  • Grill for 5-7 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  • Flip the chicken and brush on barbecue sauce.
  • Close the grill lid and cook for another 10-15 minutes.
  • Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (75°C).
  • Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs and serve.
