Ingredients

  • 2 pounds baby back ribs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  • Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
  • Rub the ribs with olive oil.
  • Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  • Coat the ribs with the spice mixture.
  • Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
  • Cover the ribs tightly with foil.
  • Bake in the oven for 2.5 hours.
  • Remove the foil and brush barbecue sauce over the ribs.
  • Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
